The M.E.N Arena is situated in the heart of the UK’s most iconic music scene. Manchester is home to The smiths, The Stone Roses, Oasis, Joy Division and a bustling live music scene. The M.E.N is bang in the middle of it all and has become a must-stop venue for the world’s biggest bands. The Arena has played host to sell out crowds and acts like U2, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, and Pavarotti.
It opened its doors in 1995 and has attracted millions of people to its sold out shows. In 2002 it hosted the commonwealth games and in 2000 Mike Tyson chose the Arena for his debut UK fight.
The M.E.N attracted over half a million ticket holders in 2009 and continues to keep the spirit of the Manchester rock scene alive.
